L4d2 Mapping
19/08/2013 20:40Hi there, i know this topic is not cs 1.6 related but, if someone can help me it would be great, so i want to know with what program can i make l4d2 maps ? I searched some topics on google but, i didn't quite get it, one says that it's source sdk tools, others said vhe 4.0 and so on, so which is the right one and do i need the game, to download the mapping program ?

20/08/2013 20:10open tools under steam.
look for source sdk
download it
open it and choose in the dropdown box l4d2
and then press on "Start Hammer"
Steam will now start hammer 4.0

1. i dont have l4d2 in the dropdown box
2. Setup file "gameinfo.txt" doesn't exist in subdirectory "d:\games\cs\steam\steamapps\dangerrr95\team fortress 2\tf." Check your -game parameter or VCONFIG setting.
i also have half life and other games to run Hammer with, but they don't run either, they show the same error

i meant Left 4 Dead 2 Authoring Tools
under Tools tab.
