Socket or web connection from plugin for real

Hi,

Is it possible to establish a socket connection AMXX mod? I want to send data from the plugin to some remote server. If that is possible, of course.

Can anyone lend a hand? I want to send user position and orientation through sockets to some server. Basically, I want to get live feed of user's movement.
