g400 cable problem?

I have a g400 for a year with no problem but lately it has disconnect/reconnect problem. It automatically disconnects (i can hear the cable unplug sound) then reconnect after 10s. Ive tried reinstall driver/switch usb port but it seems useless.Does anyone have the same problem with me?

Your mouse is broken, unfortunately. I've had same problem with my mx518's (same mouse imo.), and now I got my fifth MX518 which is going to die aswell..

Just go to the shop where you bought it (with receipt) and you'll get a new one.

I have done that everytime.. Best mouse, but sadly the cable isn't best. Maybe you should also try G400s, Logitech has updated the cable on it!

well i actually just had the exact same problem with my g400, and just yesterday got the g400s, naturally my strafes are random as hell at the moment but my timing seems better for bhops somehow, it's basically the same price as a g400 so you cant go wrong

leggie, I've heard that G400s mousewheel doesn't feel as same as MX518&G400 was. - Is that a myth, or is it the truth?

I am going to buy G400s this week aswell. Hopefully I will found my receipt to get it 49€ cheapier.. =)

and to KyU.K, you can also try to put a bit tape to your cable, like where-ever it have bent. It can also work little. But I think the best way is to buy a new one.

Same thing for my G500, intermittent disconnection started 1 year later after I purchased it. 99% it is the wire problem, there is no better way than just RMA it. I got a new G500s just before the warranty was gone.

i don't think it's the exact same as the g400 but still very similar
