Help me choose a mouse
Please tell me how at your discretion Logitech g500? whether to add money and take the g700?
g500 is a good mouse for low budget. But if you have more than 30$ don't buy a logitech or razer they sucks hard :)
By the way you won't be better with a mouse.

True... i had a random cheap mouse played with it just fine after i bought G500 it didn't felt any difference.
Also, you need to know if you are more claw grip or palm grip :)
My personal opinion comes from my own experience, and that is that logitech mices, especially the G400-500 series is excellent for climbing and recording, but that it feels so much worse when it comes down to longjumping and general jumping. However, razer's deathadder was superior in longjumping, only problem with that mice was that it had a very uncomfortable scroll which didn't go well with bhopping.
I improved at bhopping when I changed to G400, but my longjumping skills got a lot worse.
Sad I still have not found a mouse that performs great in both climbing and longjumping. (Not counting G5)
In my opinion the best mices overall are without any doubt, Steelseries Xai or his little brother Kinzu!
Reasons? They are quite lightweight, practical, fast, comfortable, are simply the best mice to Kreedz for there reasons, I could longjump, jump, bhop, climb with a Kinzu and it was pretty cheap tho but if you got more than 60€ for a mice, damn get a Xai or Sensei ;) Steelseries are really good for jumping, otherwise, Mamba or Deathadder are the best mices for standart counter-strike 1.6
Did anyone try shooting with logitech g100s? It's inferior to nowadays hz and dpi standards but they say it has a good sensor. I'm gonna use it for quake mostly but feedback on kz experience would be appreciated too.

Talking in "old" mices, I remembered Microsoft 1.1A and 3.0 :P Great mices tho

Had them both, both felt good to play quake back in 2002-07, but then I found out kz and realized it's not what I could call a good mouse for kz. Still amazed how zhady made so many good wrs with 3.0 (or was it 1.1)? My elder brother plays with 3.0 since them 00s, had a play with it too recently, felt way too light after logiteches :)

Yeah 1.1A was a great mice even was too heavy for KZ but really good for longjumping about 3.0, well 3.0 wasn't that heavy and had extra buttons (mouse4 and mouse5) which was very cool, I love those 2 mices otherwise, my fav mices for kz are definitely Xai and Kinzu :P
What the hell are you talking about ? They're no mice for kz or shooting or whatever, it's all about how confortable is the mouse for you. It won't change anything about your skill, sometime I use my deathadder, g500, random mouse for 1€ or my rat 9 (110€) and nothing change. It's just all about if you're palm grip or claw grip, which in my case is palm grip so I couldn't use any mouse like Sensei (too small)

It doesn't work like that for me, I had a signtificant breakthrough when I laid my hand on G5 after those microsofts. I don't have any problems playing kz_kzdk_templebhop_h, I do all bhop parts first try normally on g5/g500/g400 and I hardly complete first two bhop parts in 10 minutes with microsoft mices. How don't you feel difference in laser/optic, hz parameters is beyond me.

I am palm grip and I still can use Sensei, Xai or Kinzu and yes the mice affects your performance in many ways, obviously, your skills are the most important but the mice does affect obviously otherwise pros would use random mices. I did always noticed difference between my 1.1A/3.0 (they are similiar) and my kinzu, I was way better in longjump with 1.1A and I was better in bhop with Kinzu, I was also better at standart cs with 1.1A since it was an heavier mice and was perfect to aim, the mice DOES affect your performance BUT it isn't the most important and the only one what affects your gaming skills.
