Counter-strike update

Hey guys! I'm not much into kz and jumping but mostly playing another mod in 1.6(surf). However the updates the last year has made alot of changes to cs 1.6 and I'm wondering if you guys also have gotten a shitload of problems with the updates? One of the worste changes in the update is the change in the fpsengine, so i guess you've had some problems with it too? I've also noticed that I've got more laggs and fpsdrops after the update. I.O.W the game was running better and smoother before.

I've seen that alot of players have been complaining about these updates and steam doesn't listen. So I'm trying to start a "campaign" to get steams attention.

Obviously the steam support doesn't take the players seriously(there's ofc nothing wrong about complaining in the support), so I'm trying to go directly to the source of this problem. The developer team. I know that they sometimes read the suggestions / ideas forum in the steam community. So basically what I'm trying to do is getting as many players as posibel to post in that forum if they don't like the updates.

Well the biggest change is with fps above 100fps and surf speedruns and freestyle use 131fps on old version. We've seen some big changes in speed and height especially. So we still have an isue about what rates we should play with becaus the physics is totaly changed for us. Some players also now got fps drops and more often laggs and laggspikes after the updates.

I've heard that some peoples had problems with a few maps but haven't noticed it myself.
