A temporary way to fix your cs

if u updated cs and cant play it.
first, disable the auto-update here

then replace your cstrike folder with the old one ( http://www.sendspace.com/file/6wzdc8 i happen to have the old cstrike folder here, go grab it)
then u can launch the game and play.
but mostly you'll find something strange in-game.
As for me , i'm seeing this strange huds like this(ooks like half-life2?). and i'm actually carrying a knife but it's showing that i'm carrying this shotgun in the left hand lol (cl_righthand 1 on).


i think these strange huds and models has something to do with other certain files, i dont know about it. maybe someone could find what's it about and we can totally get the normal cs back.

These are old version cstrike folders? Meaning I lose all my downloaded maps and config settings?
