I've recently bought a mechanical keyboard SteelSeries 6gv2 but its completely impossible to strafe with or get used to. It seems that the problem is coming from the anti-ghosting technology but i cant find a way to disable it. Is there some kind of commands from the console to fix it or anything at all or i should go back to the membrane keyboard.

ive heard from friends that got the 6g keyboard had problems getting used to it and to improve with it(atleast longjumps).

Are there any function keys that can be used to disable the antighosting? for example FN+F1-12 keys. On my CMstorm mechanical i can change response etc if im using a ps/2 port and change various other things

You just need to get used to

I have tried every mechanical switch available, and I think your problem is due to the auctuation point being mid-ways through the key stroke... Your muscle memory is simply not used to the key being activated so fast compared to your rubber dome keyboard, where you have to buttom before it register. This obviously lead to unsynchronized strafes, and you will need to rewire your brain before you will be accustomed to it.

have been using mechanical kbs (brown switch) my entire kz career, and it's no issue

however, I only recently considered that it might be easier to use a dome-style so maybe I'm holding myself back haha

was thinking of getting a set of dampeners, which would make bottoming out softer
