Sooo i got a problem with the Logitech gaming software and since so many people here uses logitech i thought i should ask here.

The problem is this. I install LGS and the install etc goes smoothly as it should but when i plug in my G430 headset using the soundcard/USBconnector that follows with the headset LGS doesnt detect any connected hardware. I also tried when i first got the headset to plug in my G400 to see if that one would get detected by the program and guess what, it didnt detect it.
Ive tried using many many different versions of LGS but none has worked so far.

Ive heard that LGS and razer software doesnt go hand in hand and that could be the thing causing issues but i dont havent seen any sufficient evidence that its the problem

Any ideas? Or am i stuck with a defect hardware/software?

Try different USB ports,or try plugging it directly with the 3.5mm(7.1 Surround sound requires software installation, maybe try without this),you'll probably won't have the mega surround sound features but at least they might work.

I had the same problem recently, your PC for some reason not can install basic drivers for your headphones (set when the first time you connect headphones to the USB port) due to the limitation of administrator rights on your windows driver not can be installed, this problem occurs in users who use modified windows (not original ISO windows), solved this problem reinstalling windows using the original ISO, then there should be no problem, good luck
