Its too hard to keep tabs on the current events on XJ!
04/08/2014 23:18I feel that XJ needs some sort of tab for the current events on XJ. The map contest thread is now on the fourth page and people might not even know there is a mapcontest at the moment. This also regards all other active events such as the run events and what not, just have somewher you can see what active events XJ is doing so it doesnt just get lost in the sea of old newsthreads.
I don't think this is too hard to achieve and I think it would give a better overview of the current mapping contests/tournaments/whatnot.

they should have sticky newsposts like sticky threads on the forum
+1 pls split it up if possible into something like:
general kz overview and chit-chat (new maps released, things like counts marriage post, pu9maker as new COO of xj, players banned etc...)
records posts (wr releases and maybe you could include rotws i guess)
tournaments/contests (run challenges and any other type of challenge, mapping contests, tournaments)
movie section
if you sectioned off the posts you could include one post on more than 1 tab, like the movie of the latest run challenge could go in the tournament/events tab as well as in the movie section or the announcement and results of a big event could be posted in the kz overview as well as tournaments/contests
one can dream right?

You can set it sticky but all it will do is fix the post on top of others for specified time. Not sure if it's the best you can get since it would pretty much shut out other posts.

b8O idea is best..split the news in some kind of categories :)
Just make a page like YT KZ MOVIES. Add some pictures and the Autor thread name underneath. Call it EVENTS and place all active contests/challanges/competitions in there. Nice and tidy.
