The main problem was not what you were trying to do, the problem is what you did.
Sorry but that's not the right way to catch cheaters. You must contact with the administration and they should be prepared to investigate the case so if more people say same as you, admins must take care and be very strict with it. Doing this is more pathetic because if your intentions are not considered or not very well received, you will be punished and "the other cheaters" they will laugh in your face. I don't say shit about you because you are a good player but you are banned and that's ok, you cheated.
Btw about Kenlawrence and random we need concrete evidence to ensure what you say.

ok so he was stupid to cheat and try prove a point all that shit yeah but why is getting banned from demos on xj? xj isn't cosy.... it has nothing to do with cosy....you've unbanned people that should still be banned as they've well... "broken" the rules but you dont do anything to them but ban him for doing something on an unrelated website.... logic

"Everything started 1 week ago when I tried to beat KenLawrence's klbk_assault run. After 2hours everyday(3 days in a row) of geeking that map and finally beating it, the very same day it was released, KenLawrence raped my demo by 1 second. I'm sure he's a cheater"

PS: I tried the map for 15 minutes, I did 53.85, still higher than the current wr but with some geeking the wr should be easily beatable.

Not too long ago someone raped a 7yo girl. He was 18yo. He went to jail and in his first day there the other guys found out and started, you know, doing their thing from behind. The boy was screaming for help towards guards "pls dont let them do this to me". Then the guards asked back "what did you do?". The boy said "well i raped a girl". Guards replied "well then, so be it..."
Bottom line, what you did was wrong and if you want to prove a point or to help, you need another approach. Wish people would just get that...

Reading all the shit you guys wrote in here, I must say that I'm on NAPZ's side.
You all don't get what NAPZ is trying to say ... he left a mark on this scene more than any of you all together(the ones that are insulting him), yet you diss him for cheating in one demo.

Cheating one time doesn't make you a huge vilain, a person not to respect at all. Yes, it changes things, but its the purpouse that matters abit.
I'm not saying cheating is ok! I'm refering to how people see it ... by cheating in multiple demos, you beat legal runs & there's a big chance you destroy the "wr capability" on certain maps, or atleast the view about "can it be improvable?". That destroys the game ... there are not so many people that geek like oldschoolers did, because the demos are nearly perfect. The problem is : not all of these are legal
My logic works this way :
if you hit TOP5 with cheated demos, then you deserve a permanent ban without any second chance.
if you hit TOP5 with clean demos, but at some point you decide to upload a cheated one, then you deserve a ban but providing a second chance in the future. (not talking exactly about napz here)
Suddenly it's very clear why you defended Napz in this thread, it's because you're a cheater as well.

What's funny is that you obviously did it for personal reasons, being personally affected by him beating your demo, you couldn't take a random map and record it to 'prove your point' it had to be your own demo getting beat? This is exactly why it is clear that it pissed you off that he beat you, and of course he had to cheat since he beat the all mighty Cobrex, so you decided to try to 'shut him up' by beating him, but he re-beat you and you get more and more frustrated, because it's affecting you personally.
That's why it's pretty obvious it's not to 'prove a point', it's you being angry since he took your record. Either way it's not really important however you want to phrase why you cheated.

You didn't get my "left a mark" idea! Leaving something behind you, your nickname, doesn't need to relate to jumping only ... it can be done with movies, maps, even making a big change in the community(admin or not). My oppinion is that if you left a mark, something behind you, then you somehow have a slightly "bigger" word upon situations

if you are going to make such tests you should not tell only your friend but also contact some of the admins in order to assure your cheated demos will stay out of the release. i believe cobrex acted all emotionally and didnt have plans to conquer cc.. my 2 cents. also i dont think xj is scared that he will cheat and they wont catch him. idk what actions xj should take against him though

Did you really not understand anything about my essay? I just said I only cheated those 5 demos! You can check all my demos on XJ and so on ... this happened few days ago! When we argued in the other thread I didnt own any cheat.
I had proof, but that was sent to random and he said its a bug, not a cheat. Everybody said that random is defending ken, so I had to prove it somehow cuz If ken used the same cheat as me, then I would have busted him! GET IT NOW?
And you are really dumb to say that man, why should I get banned for my cosy behaviour? LyNn wasnt caught, and that cosy thing was an excuse ... everything was fake, so stop about lynn's case.
You compare cosy with xj, really? XJ is on top! Cosy can't handle demos so they ban everybody from XJ ... tho its pretty stupid, those 2 being different communities. You don't accept maps from cosy, yet you ban people from there. LOGIC
