A new limit will be reached with the Count technique anyway so I don't really see the point in it being accepted in normal ljs apart from to make lots of people argue :P

ahh thx for the insult stinnZ and Corey its a really good way to talk with others :)
if u dont have a bit know how then dont answer to things u dont know about aye?

@ndR, if you read what faker posted in the chatbox, you can see why he won't allow it in the LJ recs.

Facts are:

- You can get a "pre-strafe" speed (caused by the boost) up to 290 unit/s (compared to 276 unit/s with normal lj).

- 259/260 with the Countjump should be very possible therefore.

It's definitely easier to make LJ's with the Countjump and would be unfair for the old LJer if it will be set equal to the normal LJ.

and that is why i, and maybe others, recommend to make an own category "Countjumps"

you all say, what we do is just a game and just for fun so we can allow countjumps and make a division for this technique just for fun :)

but i would be better if we discuss this somwhere else...e.g. in the thread at jumptalk :)

You cannot even speak english correctly but you have the worst and biggest kisser in the whole community. It is a shame and as you should notice, we cannot be victims of your inferiority complexes. Take a look out of the window, the sun shines, grow up!

The technique should be allowed, it is just another way to jump as long as possible. There have not been any rules against this jump, why should there be rules if the new technique has been discovered?

but its a new technique.. when there wasnt a strafe and when it showed does it was unacceptable too? so new ljump techniques must be accepted too i think.. about old ljumpers.. there are new times, not oldies anymore.. new maps, new styles, new everything

insen mapper15/03/2007 20:41

@ spermis thats correct but imo theres also some kind of Retrogression(dunno if this word is correct :D in german its "Rückentwicklung")
there are many easy maps and there are not many allrounders; if there is a development there should be much harder maps or am i mistaken?

The easiest solution is to divide the LJ-section into 4 categories:
- LJ w/o CJ
- LJ with CJ
- HJ
- Bhop-LJ

Volsfootball16/03/2007 03:15

Or just make a seperate section named CJ. . .

I know that count technique is don't allowed in high jumps but is it forbidden in longjumps ?

stinnZ

certainly hope so :D

cause some ppl say its easier to do jumps with doubleduck so thats basically cheating in comparison to t3ds 254

Let's not forget Nico also did 254. . .

how bout this. for the records, just make a different section just for the duck jump lj thingy. works doesn't it? solves everyone's problems? then ted can go ahead and send in a duck lj of his own.
