XJ Website Mobile Version ?

I thought it'd be nice if the website had
A mobile version for phone users.
There are already some versions released
As I have seen .
What do you think ?

18/08/2014 10:15don't think it would be a good idea... Look at cosy mobile site, is rubbish...
For the kind of site xj is, mobile design doesn't really fit.

18/08/2014 11:55With this kind of themes it's impossible to build a mobile website for various reason. However, the new XJ theme will support mobile for most of the devices and OS.

Now if you dont do that and you blame XJ that is not good anymore or its boring and not active or even DEAD.
Don't blame anybody else except your self.
Every sugguestion would be countable and a getaway to
other ideas for sure.
Being so negative about your ideas makes you dont wanna post it? (talking about everyone) it's where we end up.

18/08/2014 15:03Hey suggestions either get accepted or denied, if the case is latter then it's not necessarily indicator of negativity, simply your idea wasn't good enough/isn't needed, while your suggestion can still be appreciated.
I don't know why you're trying to avoid any kind of controversy, my previous post was basically a banter w/o hard feelings if it seemed so whatsoever.

But e107 is crap and the current theme doesn't allow me to build a mobile version as well. So the only solution is to create a new theme from scratch on m.xtreme-jumps.eu which of course won't happen, because of the time it will take me to do it. It's not something that can happen for a day or a week. It takes a lot of time and testing.

I am not avoiding anything, but the way you guys talk here its likely you think the idea is a joke.

What do you mean e107 is crap? as i know e107 is awesome
its just that in XJ its screwed up with alot of changes/addons or whatever that made it turn bugged
like that. Why dont you re-create the e107 and import the theme back and import the databases etc to avoid the bugs/issues you have? your doing always the hard way, everything is possible and xj phone site wouldn't be bad for alot of reasons.

18/08/2014 16:10e107 still has it limitation like every cms does.
most of XJ features had to be hijacked into the maincore, because of the plugins limitation.
Since PsYxOpAt has a new project ongoing (what he is writing from scratch) a mobile version wouldn't not come for this design or for this base cms core.
So let PsYxOpAt do his project and it will feature alot of new features :)
18/08/2014 16:15Like I said e107 is a crap. I won;t go into details, because it will require a lot of time to explain.
I can't just import the database. e107 used a lot of wrong methods. Like using a different collation for X table or field. And messing up with the collation from 1 to another can lead to bugs that you can't even think of.
Like I said there will be a mobile version with the new website theme.
