You can't rly say that the song sucks hard, because everyone has a diffrent taste in music, and whatever else, so it can suck only for you, maybe he liked it therefore he edited with it :)
About the edit, u have a lot to improve on, make your campaths with smoofofer, add a little bit more fps (300-600)

thanks for the advice, I'm new to the world of video editing and try and keep improving
