Hehe fame is legend and always will be. Sadly i did not play or pay attention to kz from 2011 to 2019 so i miss so much fun. And i dont even know how this old engine work and demo checking work.
Since there are new games with top anticheat and still there are hackers who dont get caught. And now imagine cs 1.6 there are for sure cheats what are not detectable but hey guys this game is old as fuck and everyone who use or used hacks for advantage should be ashamed.

Wow, how could I miss this one? The funny part is that I sent to WqkO my demos (some 270cj, 273 dcj fails) and he told me he has already received better demos and it would be unfair for the better demos. I totally understood this and still could send him better demos, which I didn't. How funny after all those years to find out that those "better demos" were cheated. Poor WqkO, he didn't know about this.

Well yeah this is kind of sad. I did put a lot of work into this and I'm sad that my nostalgia is stained by these revelations.

Back then, I was spending a lot of time talking with everyone to figure out which players were suspicious or not because this was the very thing I wanted to avoid.

The fact that even "well-reputated" players had no integrity at all is very disappointing. And we all know that these most likely aren't the only demos where they cheated.

But well, that's how it is. It was still a good time! I have no regret because I pretty much did all I could to fight this. At some point, I just had no legitimacy asking admins to check every single demos.

But I still have a good memory of this trilogy. I mean it was kinda huge, everyone knew about it, some never liked the concept but that's how it is.

Overall I was proud of it. And I still am, just a little less. :)

The fact that failed demos edited back then was a question mark for some, imagine knowing that they were cheated. It is just cringe to send cheated demos to a moviemaker who is creating something out of the box. Still, the project was successful and thats what we will always remember Wqko.
