Russian style gaming

Have anyone here tried to play kz russian style like in this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl-VawJDWiE? I play quake like this because it makes my movements for a faster speed and it's easier to manipulate with the mouse playing like this. Today I tried playing kz with russian style and it made me being able to strafe more and my lj kinda increased. Moreover my hand gets less tired camparing to normal style playing.

Might be just a placebo effect or what's your experience?

Well, no. My sync decreased and it felt uncomfortable making big turns. Also my left hand got tired really fast. Overall it felt weird playing like that but i guess i didn't play long enough to get used.

u kidin me right ? :D This is soo weird man.I doubt someone to play like that in KZ :D Strfs would be imposible in my oppinion.

Interesting, but I personally believe it has no significant benefits for us who already are used on the regular way. Likewise for those who are used playing it this way.

I held the Nintendo 64 controller differently than my friends and was always questioned and asked why I couldn't hold it normally. Funnily enough, it didn't conflict my ability to play the games and be good, quite the opposite actually.

My left hand was placed on the left holder while my right hand was at the middle. The "normal" way of holding the controller was to have your right hand hold the right holder and your left was in the middle.

I could see this be the case with the mouse too. But that's just my theory.

My keyboard is almost at 90 degrees idk why but thats how im used to play :D

I had that kind of set up when I used to play in LANs , because of their keyboard/mouse and table set up. but that was such a longtime ago (cs 1.3-1.5 days). for now I don't even know if I can play like that anymore.
