Problem with SIM Card or Phone...? [SOLVED]
Hello...i have a problem with phone (or it may be a sim card but listen..) I bought my new mobile z2 (no matter) and i have my old sim card...so when i put that sim card into the my new phone, it is detected (becouse of switching power off/on), i mean theres no signal, i CANT CALL, CANT ANYTHING exept WIFI ant that stupid things....BUT...when i put any other cards in my phone, phode detects them all..all works normally...ALSO when i put MY OLD SIM in ANY OTHER MOBILE IT WORKS.....so in what is the problem? i think in mobile, becouse that sim card is working on every other mobile, if you know what i m saying....so can you help me?
Probably ur phone has a sim lock. It means that you can have a sim card of one brand. For example ur phone will got signal only while you put ORANGE simcard, if you put Telekom( I think you got this one in slovakia) there will be no signal.
17/04/2015 10:08(edited 17/04/2015 10:09)I had the same problem a few months ago i bought a new sim card and told them to keep my number the same and now everything is fine. They told me that the sim they replaced is outdated or something like that
@danger, yea possibly ill also do that, BUT, it cant be outdated becouse it WORKS ON OTHER PHONES...weird :D
@Szczupak, i wrote some code (maybe IMEI) and i opened Configration, so there is Sim Lock 0 (also 3-4 more things with value of only '0') so i thing that my old sim isnt locked...also you are wrong sorry, my friend has the same brand (say it is Telenor), and it works, but only MY DOESNT WORK wtf? :D

aham...my sister told me that she bought already new one yesterday, i mean new card with the same number.....omg....i went to Telenor and they say that she needs to get new one (she got it yesterday how i said) so i dont know what to do...maybe again new one but it is impossible that Telenor have given her a bad-new sim hah...

haha thanks Danger, but yea it is already cutted..i know that the new toucscreen phone require it...also with that cutted sim card i tryed on my old mobile (with require normal sim, but i took it on right place) it works like a charm...maybe again new sim card, probably my sister fucked up something on first puttin into the Z2...
The problem was difficult for all...sister's new sim card has worked on every other telephone but not in her phone becouse he need older version of SIM CHIP...here is the pic:

The first one is required for Sony Z2, so thats it
guys sorry for posting in this topic but i have strange problem too since i broke my phone...i have to use nokia asha 302,but when i put my SIM card in the phone the little symbols for using internet are turning on by themselves and i think it drains internet and make me paying money just like that ..
