Time for a new PC

Hey guys,

I know that some people with big knowledge running here around at XJ.
After I got my taxes back I want (have to) to buy a new PC.
My notebook is done after 4 years and moving it everytime around to every place.
Also the newest games like CS:GO or 7 days to die on a good quality are a killer for it.

Create a own PC or buy a complete system, what is the better solution or cheaper nowadays?
The problem is that I am not up to date with newest technologies...

MUSTHAVES:

I want a

- big Monitor (When i say big, then I mean big)
- nvidea graka ofc (I hate ATIshiat)
- intel pocessor

And the rest should be on "todays standard"
DDR3 etc..

I have also two monitors in my mind and a graka where can handle this.
One hammer :D and one football.

GTX 770 2Go DDR5 is pretty nice Zocker ;)

lol not rly. 770 is so-so for newest games, I can imagine it being almost obsolete in a year. If you're aiming for a bit more future-proof setup, get a 970. currently probably the best price/performance card you can get. also I strongly advise against kingston SSDs and recommend samsung.

I have the GTX 970, would not recommend it for future-proof reasons until we see how DX12 affects it. It's a card that will definitely fall flat in a year or two because it has 3.5gb of VRAM (the last .5gb performs much slower than the initially advertised 4gb). However, if you don't mind having to upgrade the GPU in about 1-1,5 years, go for it.

I would suggest the following:

ASUS z97 (almost any z97 from ASUS will do the trick as the z97 work great with the 4790k, good overclocking if that's your thing. I'd base my choice off of what extra features the motherboard has, such as better quality audio ports.)
HyperX Fury DDR3 1600MHz 8GB
Corsair RM750
Fractal Design R5
1-2TB, any HDD
Samsung 850 EVO 250gb
No DVD drive cause 2015
Noctua NH-D14 or D15 (depends on how much you will overclock, I'd go for the older, cheaper D14 if you won't overclock much. If you won't overclock at all, just use the stock Intel cooler that comes included with the 4th gen.)

This build is without a monitor and costs €1500 in Norway, I assume it will be a few hundred cheaper in Germany. If you do not care about gaming on the big monitor, get any 27" for around €200. Most big, good gaming monitors go for at least €300 here. Nice to see you dislike AMD, no one likes plastic cores that overheat while playing Runescape.

i7 in 1200€ config is pointless, expect you need to, otherwise its good but still overpriced

A computer should be an investment. Buy one of the top tier CPU, MOBO and GPU in the current generation to save you the hassle of needing to upgrade within the upcoming year or so. I definitely don't recommend going backwards, like some have suggested.
I already listed you a computer almost identical to what camel recommended. But I just have to point out that 970 is a solid choice, regardless of it being (technically) 3.5 GB VRAM. It only becomes a problem when you start playing beyond 1080p, like say 4K. But then again, you have better options specifically made for 4K-gaming.

970 is the sweet spot for casual gamers. Not fully invested in the high-end gear, but enough power to enjoy modern games in 1080p/2K gaming.
