My childhood and CS 1.6 KZ, so much fun!
Hello everyone! I know that I am new here, but don't mind.
Few days ago tried CS 1.6 KZ again and... well, I am speechless.. I mean, it was so much fun and all my childhood memories woke up! I miss those times when there were like +15 players same time jumping through KZ maps in CS 1.6. I know no one of you recognizes me, I am just nobody :D I was playing with "reHu" nick.
I have a dream that in some day I can host CS 1.6 KZ server. I have experience about server hosting, but I think CS 1.6 KZ is kinda dead, so is this only time wasting? First I thought it will be Finnish server, but in future, I don't know..
I don't know where I am pointig to, just wanted to say hello..

Actually, I hosted classic HnS server for like one moth. Max player peak was 15 I think. Maybe i'll host it again? What do you think guys, Hns or KZ?

EDIT: Looks like I've lost a bit of the thread while I was writing my post. Regarding your question I'm pretty sure KZ server will be in favour in the kreedz community.

So, is there need for another CS 1.6 KZ server? I would run old maps much more.

i dont think there is point making cs kz server anymore, ofc for fun do it, u wont get alot of acitvity, u also need special like plugins etc to excite the players, else its just another 'boring'' server or something, no matter what maps.
10aa classic hns server would be fun tho
There are even ljs on some de_ maps for those who only want to lj. :D
I've been asking about KZ server from finnish gamers and at the time there is about 10 people who wants KZ back. So, is the KZMod more popular than CS 1.6 KZ? I've never tried KZMod :o

That would be really nice, but unfortunately I don't think this would prove to be beneficial for you at this current time. KZ and HNS has in general died out to the point where keeping a playerbase in a server is nearly impossible. Majority of the remaining KZ-players are playing on very select few servers these days, like nobkz to name an example (and I predict it drastically get worse in the near future).
But yeah, I personally have my best gaming memories on those classic hns servers, even though I was horrible at the game. Nothing beats the paranoia feeling you get when CT's are rushing you at a 3-4 man boost spot with very few seconds to win the round. Oh God, I'd give anything just to go back and re-experience it.

28/07/2015 20:35I joined kz-endo hard yesterday when i saw the legend himself, g-Lp on there. So rule of thumb would be to always be where he is since there's always a lot of people.
hns with 10aa would be so good, all these shitty "blockmaker 100aa" is so annoyin

btw we got lags on server, because we banned a cheater, and seems like he dont got a personal life, he is ddosing us, ping is up to 100 sometimes, but we still play :p
