hamachi failed to connect to the servers

hey, i've had this problem for quite a while now. Hamachi is unable to run. Whenever i power it on, this message "Failed to connect to the hamachi servers blabla..." pops up. I've tried several things to fix it:

-i ran hamachi without microsoft firewall and antivirus to no avail.
-i tried by launching hamachi from the services.msc which didnt solve to problem.
-it works on another computer on the same router, so the issue most likely comes from my laptop.
-i uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times and also deleted previous hamachi user configs.

this issue appeared all of a sudden (it used to work just fine), and i cant seem to figure out what has caused this. if you guys have any idea or if it also happened to you, dont hesitate to share.

i believe you're thinking of this logmein hamachi folder in user/appdata/local or whatever. i deleted it too but it didnt fix the problem.
google is being a little bitch, tried every fix i could find without success. i also posted this problem on different forums but nobody has replied yet

well thanks i guess, but i'd still like to fix hamachi.

various solutions i found on the interwebz:

"you can fix this problem easily:
1.hold the windows button and press the "r" key or go to start menu and type "run" and launch "Run"
2.type in the run window "services.msc" and press enter
3.scroll to "LogMeIn Hamatchi Tunneling Engine" and click it
4.press "start the service"
5.launch LogMeIn"

Also, if you get an error or it simply won;t allow you to start the service, you should kill hamachi via task manager and also from all processes the other hamachi process, then start it again, and do the above method.

Another method:
"step 1
if windows 8 then open c:/programfiles(x86)/logmein hamachi/
if win7 open c:/programfiles/logmein hamachi/

step 2
hold down your shift key and right click inside the explorer window and there should be an option to open command prompt here in the click menu. select this and it will automattically navigate you to that folder location in command prompt.

step 3
type hamachi-2.exe -a and hit enter.

step 4
problem solved

Another method (if it's not actually the first one) where this dude says the following:
"Probably easiest solution, go to task manager (right-click your taskbar,(bottom of your screen) select task manager) go to services and look up "Hamachi2Svc". right-click it and press "start" "
