I don't see any problems, might some lack of creativity. Try some new things and you will learn from that. And don't be afraid to take inspiration from other peoples work.

The sync shouldn't be done just with the velocity, sync with cams/ effects/ transitions and so on, the way I see those clips are borring and are done in the most basic way! :)

First clip: Never, listen, NEVER fade the screen when you're editing the same jump unless its motivated (by the song, for example), once again, dont leave us watching black solid screen in the middle of the clip (0:33) instead, insert something here and i don't like the sync overall but i guess it's a personal preference.

Second clip: Boring and too simple intro, never leave the audience to watch black screen for so long, use smoofofer it makes 3 and more waypoints campaths smoother (the turn on your first campath at 0:25 is sharp asf) and overall try always to follow the song's tempo, for example: at 0:54 the song finally gets fast and instead of doing different, faster velocities you continue with the slow movement and sudden speed ups which doesnt quite fit, or tbh not at all. Soo when the song is slow dont use something with a lot of speed and movement, and the opposite for the fast parts.

And the colors will come eventually, focus on editing.
