how has this demos passed through? or is that alright that he started with surf course then switched on to bhop_raceway_blue and then went back to surf? i don't think that's alright.

i believe it's ok since he started the right timer and then used a shortcut that doesn't skips more than 50% of the course/map.

I guess Coppenst said that demos with SCs that cut more than 50% of the map would not get accepted because these SCs would be fixed later.
But there are accepted demos with SCs like that, so I guess this "rule" is not being applied anymore

Yeah I know that, but if I remember correctly, crate_delight[hillslide_hop]'s wr has a sc that cuts like 80% of the map

i remember some admin said something like that; probably when kUZKKK's demo was denied, i don't remember exactly the release.
24/10/2015 18:25well in terms of shortcuts this map stands out of the conventional maps with a single course or courses within a map seperated stricly by teleports or that don't stand together so close. here in that map it's different due to courses mashup adn in that demo he expliclitly goes the unintended way across the course and doesn't even follow its way so it's different.
If I remember correctly, Coppenst and soulfather came to a conclusion that big sc's will be accepted because there would be too much work to fix the maps.
Kuzkk: you should reupload your increditsable demo again if hillslide_hop is accepted.
