I really liked the intro, which for me was the best thing about the movie. I'm not so into stacking tricks, but they were pretty good as well. The blinking effect you tried to sync with the music didn't really fit well and i found it out of sync at some points as well. A little tip would be to not use a solid color, but rather just increase the darkness or lightness (depends on what you want) a long with the beat, so it goes from just a little darker too a lot darker. You could also use a black background image as you did, but turn the opacity down so the blinking doesn't get so intense all the way.
