Tool assisted runs
Hello there,
I did a quick search and could not find anything related.
I would like to know if some people around there already tryed to record runs with tool assistance, as we can see in speedrun section for many other games.
I would be interested to see what would be the record using tools.
By tool assistance I mean playing regular settings and use some kind of scripts that would send command "press forward for 1.23 sec", "jump" "press left for 1sec", "turn mouse..."...
Anyone with demos / videos / information ?
scripts are forbidden.
so would be tools which are somekind of macro generators or are running scripts for you in the background.
lol demolite, you might want to read his post again. im pretty sure he's well aware that those kind of scripts would be forbidden in a run (if you intend to submit the demo here) but that's obviously not the point of his post. its purely informative
like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4qMMqZQiUW0 ?
yes exactly low-, thank you for this link. I checked the youtube channel and found some other TAS run, like this amazing summerclif : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JiKQsR-i7h8
I wonder why no one is interested in this kind of run.
It would be fun to see people compete in this discipline, trying to write the best script.
I still look for more link if you have :)
TT.
