cs1.6 fps drop.

mostly 80-99 randomly drop every second. (lowest ~40-99)
only drop fps in cs1.6, kzmod is like stable 300fps

windows 10 pro
gtx 980 latest driver
i7 5930k
16gb ram

cs1.6 settings is fullscreen ofcoz vsync is off
monitor settings is 144hz, its not related i think tho.

Buy old pc.
I don't have any problems with my "gaming machine"
4gb ram
2.60ghz dual core
1gb ram GT 520

I can have 600fps stable in 1.6 :D :D

I could be wrong but it could be because of windows 10, i heard it sucks overall, but especially with older games...
Maybe some compatibility issues...

tHIS HAPPENED TO ME A FEW DAYS AGO AFTER SOME BETA UPDATE. i'VE UNCHECKED THE BETA PARTICIPATION BOX AND ALL IS NORMAL AGAIN.
DUNNO IF ITS YOUR CASE.

i thought its the beta problem b4, and then i unchecked it but still got fps drop :c

whenever i have low fps drops incs 1.6 i think about vertical sync settings on gfx card and turn it off or in console cl_vsync 0 or something

Don't think so, i use wind 10 and no fps drops whatsoever

Try disabling background apps and/or antivirus, if you have one.
Maybe updating all drivers, if you haven't done that already.

I found some post about fps a long time ago on a Serbian forum. It is mostly targeted at low end pc's, but something might help. I can translate it if needed...
