Hi, I wanted to share an edit I made, hope you like it

new clip, lambdaaa on kz_lostworld

Good run and good quality for 720p(kz_lostworld video). Keep up the good work.
Didn't like the delianshop video so much, over editted colors imo.

Because there is no motion blur, not smooth at all.
Edit: e.g. i used no motion blur there too and when you pause it the quality is excellent, on the other side its smooth because the movement is slow.
so for run videos blur is better?
Yeah, just use 300 fps in hlae or 60 fps + rsmb(motion blur plugin) in after effects.
that clip on lostworld looks so "cartoonish". you added sharp effect or something like that?

that what happens when you oversharpen digitally created content. there are only a few scenarios, where 0,0001 sharpening can be added but even then I just apply it on the viewmodel/gun only.
quality could be improved, make sure you max out all the 3d settings from nvidia/amd control panel (full antialiasing and such) and then capture with HLAE/startmovie. 300 fps is a minimum with 60fps output for kz runs, otherwise it gets pretty dizzy.
then make sure you don't disable resampling for such high fps capture, the motion blur it creates is the needed smoothness we're looking for.
if you want to use fraps, the only way to get proper quality is tick the "RGB uncompressed capture" from fraps' settings, then capture with locked 50fps and play the demo with 20% speed. then render in virtualdub with 250fps and it speeds it up to normal speed, and you got pretty good quality fast capture. the file sizes with this method are even bigger than 300fps hlae capture, but it's much quicker.
yep I added sharp on the whole video, gun only is the way to go, I disabled resampling for editing and I forgot to put it back on while rendering. Anyway, I was aware of the sharp thing but decided to try it on youtube to see the results and it looks cartoonish indeed.

You already deserve to edit a ROTW for XJ, I hope the admins think the same. Good Job =]
one thing I'd like to point out is the bad and random music choice. Simple campaths intro - run - outro can do magic if used properly. Try to select more meaningful music and work around that! Otherwise, the whole creation seems plain. Good job nontheless! love watching these

I agree about the songs. A random pick of some fancy song isn't the best choice as you're presentings the clip to a wider audience.
Also I suggest to work on your intro campaths and texts. There's absolutely no need to use vivid colors with the texts - the most important things is that they're clear and then you should avoid fonts like comic sans and alike and use something more cinematic instead.
About the campaths, you should look into FoF's Smoofofer program or mirv_campath -commands to get smooth campaths. Over 2 point campaths without smoothing look really bad. Also you should basicly use optical zoom/fov in almost every shot, as CS 1.6 3rd person fov is very wide and not good for campaths. When you get into the advanced campaths, a little rotation of the camera at times makes them much more interesting as well. We're living 2016 after all :)
Otherwise the quality seems to be better now, tho a little fps raise won't ever hurt. Keeping it simple with the colors is fine and safe. There's room to improve but I bet you'll eventually get a ROTW to edit :)
