So, I've seen this technique done on several demos where one lands in a tunnel with no speed and just starts bhopping without any strafes and magically gains speed. I've tried searching the forums to find how this is done and I've tried it myself only to end up hopping in place like a moron without gaining any speed. The only time I managed not to lose speed while not strafing at all was when I had considerable speed to begin with. The technique in question is displayed here at 1:35:

Is it about timing the bhops exactly or what? Someone please enlighten me.

It's called kkzjump. The thing is that you must have a certain angle between the axe of the wall and where you look. i think a 15-30 degrees angle should do the trick. It's quite an easy technique.
From the demo: he is doing it with the right side wall so....he's having a small angle of what i mentioned previous as you can see he's not really looking straight forward. Using the wall on the right means you have to hold D, look a bit to the left, and just jump jump jump. By slightly moving the mouse left or right you can adjust the speed of your bhops, but you need practice.

If you're using the wall on the left, you do the opposite: hold A, look slightly to the right and jump jump jump.
