Wheel scrolling multiplying

The thing is that my mouse scroll has been through fixing recently (a common problem with deathadders actually, https://youtu.be/5LPozNbQYEk?t=1m29s ) and now it's feels tougher to spin and due to that i can't jof, bhop, groundstrafe, dcj, mcj normally. The only way to ease it up i found is:

Wondering, is that legit?

Just test it, it really doesn't affect it.

Kinda rushed to post before testing, but it did feel easier, probably placebo plus there are actually people using it thinking it helps them bhopping.
