Hunted 2
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GF9NL0VsbRo
Hi guys, livee here.
I decided to come back to the moviemaking scene because I was watching old KZ movies and I suddenly felt the urge to edit again. Now I know hunted 2 is not how you expected it to be, you expected it to be a multiplayer movie with different players and a different style. What happened is, I actually
moved the original Hunted 2 project and turned it into hunted 3, so I'll start on it
Right away and I decided to make a new hunted 2, where I use all my best demos(imo)
and just make a last kz movie for me, this will be the last time i jump. The demos may
look bad now, because they're made in 2012-13 period, except for that one famas double cj jump at the end. As for Hunted 3. I'll start on it right away but I need demos you. 1-2 Trickjump from each player, all demos need legal settings (10aa, etc etc..)
I hope you enjoy it and please leave a like and a comment in the comment section.

------------------ Edit -----------------
The edit was pretty decent, it wasn't too flashy like those dubstep wannabe edits you see pretty often but it wasn't really anything special either. Just an overall decent edit imo.
------------------ Jumps -------------------
Some of the jumps were pretty random and for example that militia WJ was done by brian with knife in like 2008, same with the scout dust jump, it's been done a very very long time ago with much heavier weapons. But some of the jumps were pretty cool and creative !
--------------------- Music -------------------
The music was pretty nice tbh but it became kind of repetitive after a while because it basically sounded the same throughout the entire movie and I hope you will have a bit more variation in Haunted 3.
---------------- Overall ----------------
Overall a decent movie with decent jumps and decent music.
5.5 / 10
I wish you good luck with Haunted 3 :)
I like the atmosphere of the video along with the music, brilliant.
next time.. get someone good at tjs
Hmm , I like your work , esp you Music choice

Well in my opinion, the combos i did were pretty good + I did them in 2012. Other than that the other demos are there just to fill the movie. And no, I dont need to get someone good at trickjumping. It's my movie, I can use whoever I want.

ofc you can do whatever you want with it.
But i just cringed really hard at the majority of those jumps and thats NOT what you want the viewer to do
Very cheap.

Care to Elaborate?
Far from decent, not quite okay yet, but not bad either. Something in between.

Lol, kid please let someone with actual knowledge comment. You have no idea what you're talking about.
"Very cheap" and then "far from decent, not quite okay yet, but not bad either"
What the fuck are you on?
:DDD well
Velocity feels plastic and that's the main problem since the clip is fully relied on it. Sometimes it was even worse, for example when at 2:25 you put a pretty fine sfx but it wasn't followed by something visual as the viewer would expect. Wasn't really keen on the colors either. Plus most of people dislike those player models but hey, it's up to preference. and what's up with anti aliasing? Generally speaking it feels like it was made in 1 day even though it wasn't because depth of field takes time to render.

Velocity was smooth, It wasn't crisp. I wanted to emphasize more on the demos rather than the movie itself, that's why I didn't have a lot of effects.
This is a horror themed movie, the colors fit perfectly. They're sad, de-saturated colors trying to symbolize fear and loneliness. Not super dubsteppy glow colors or night colors. Last time i made dark colors, people complained they were too dark, so no.
Had no idea about the player models, but I'll fix them right away.
Now your comment is way better, you actually explain what you don't like about my movie. Thanks.
My opinion doesn't count shit but here it goes.
About the jumps: Some of them were pretty nice, new at least for me and I enjoyed them, I don't actually care if they are 220 LJ with scout as long as it looks cool, in the end moviemaking was made to be aesthetic and not a longjump geek thing.
The movie, when I saw the campaths with depth of field I actually thought it would be a better movie, no offense but the music you used with such velocity and cams just didn't work well... The cams were superb (but that model tho :p)! I enjoyed those cams a lot, somehow reminded me of the amazing chip's and zuveeh's campaths. The 3D work in the intro, just nah, didn't fit it at all and it wasn't that good overall.
You had 2 options, speed up the velocity with such song or keep the velocity with a slower and "chiller" song.
I think you can do much better but since you just did it because you felt well, it's your work and you for sure deserve credits for it, good job mate, hope you keep going on this and get back on track.
Cheers

Knowing they are likely not to entertain a 2016 viewer? Wrong decision.

Hunted 3, wont have my demos nor will I edit with the same style. It's going to be completely different.

Yeah I guess, mate. I failed on the velocity at some parts.
Thanks for the feedback!
