Hey there fellas! Do you have a solution for this? http://i.imgur.com/iXzY6NY.jpg (this ia door with 2 leap and that's the edge of the door) it happens every time something comes out from the map for example: spikes coming out from the ground, walls coming out of other walls and so on I tried with render mode: texture, but it has a pretty annoying light coming out of the blocks, so is there another way?

it goes black because when you render (compile) the map, no light source can touch it, because it's embeded inside the wall, which i suppose it's a world brush. If you make the Wall a func_wall, then the door will have light when you compile the map, and that will fix your problem (assuming i understood what you meant).

Oh so that's the trick damn, thank you dude !

Other solution people use is put doors and other moving entities outside of worldbrush in desirable position (place where it goes after trigger), and use "Starts open" entity flag to move it inside worldbrush on map load (note that angles should be opposite in that case). That way entity will get proper lightmap values during compilation, but will start in opposite position inside worldbrush.

Good to know, thanks !
