KZmod Gameservers + Gamefiles-server going down/needs you!
Hey guys,
maybe some of you don't even know, but I've always supported KZmod through paying the V-Server where the Gamefiles, the Toplist and the Gameservers are running on.
But since nobody seems to really "care" about KZmod anymore (except a handful of players, the WR-list here on XJ and Raptor still programming [big thumbs up for this!!]) I'm not willing to pay 24,90€ per month for the KZmod V-Server anymore, since I barely see 1 player playing on the servers. I've paid the server for nearly 3 years now, everybody can calculate how much money that is.
So there are 2 different solutions to let the KZmod server stay alive:
1. Find someone who is willing to pay me so I can continue paying the current server (easiest solution)
2. Find someone who will setup a new one (have to be a Windows V-Server with at least 4 Cores and 8GB RAM + a strong internet connection 100MBit+) and pay it (remember that every player have to redownload the modified installer files from the xj servers and reinstall the game then + the new server have to be configured - toplist, svn, sql, gameservers)
If you have any other possible solutions let me know.
Otherwise I will shutdown the server in October 2016.

this should be posted on frontpage so that everyone can see it, not in an obscure part of the forum.
One of the main problem of this is the lack of cs;go section and that kzmod is not in steam yet.
01/09/2016 00:25I actually joined the server alot (not lately tho) and most of the time I was alone. As p0ker said, the game is not on steam yet (thats a big and great step towards the popularity of it). I find it expensive to run the servers ... don't even know if its worth it. Lets hope someone can help out!
dont waste your time and money on servers anymore, its a dead scene since a long time ago =/

So why doesn't XJ use the donations money they're receiving for the XJ servers ... as it is said in XJs donations page?
Oh yeah i feel this should be on top, it also makes the kzmod completely unplayable if you've downloaded it recently.
