Has anybody tried this yet? Is it true that anything over 100hz makes no difference in cs 1.6? ????
while it in theory don't make a difference (i think), because anything over your refresh rate is wasted, it can certainly feel different due to reduced input lag among other things.
but no, i wouldn't buy that for 1.6. actually, not even for any game except maybe csgo where i can pull 240 fps consistently.

yes i agree hahahahahahaah
But linustechtips tested csgo on it and they wouldnt suggest you to buy it since csgo engine cant run it fully always on 240hz even if you can maintain 240fps. 60hz-144hz(big difference) 144-240(not really a noticeable difference)
useless for 1.6

Even if you are pushing 240FPS,you won't see any difference between 240hz and 144hz/120hz.
I run an 144Hz display and I don't like it when I play standard kz because the fps is limited to 100 making it less smooth. I have to play like an hour continously to get used to non-max refresh rate. But for things like classic cs, cs go, kz go, or just messing around on a kz server with autobhop and 2538 fps, it is a nice experience.
01/06/2017 17:47Since 100fps is the legal settings limit, it's useless but for any other shooter game or else, it's useful :)
