Best KZ memories
So it's been a while I played this great mod, but I was wondering what your best experiences are like.
hey@
old days in 2007-2010 ofc. release of countjump and standupbhop
in 2009, this year,
I found some players playing this mode. Its looks strange, whole day just trying to jump few block. it was hard but fun to play.
Good old days.

for me its amazing in all times ;)
I remember a very funny thing. Some years ago wolvz was recording some speedmap for cosy and there were 31 people spectating him, we were annoying the fuck outta him while aloprando was taunting some dude so much that he left wolvz's LAN really sad and pissed off, we were all crying out of laughter the whole time (for like 20 min non-stop). That day was some really funny shit.
when i started was super fun, super NOOB that need /boost in order to finish maps :D also bunny hop with space and shit.. :D
but in general when i joined XJ was super nice cus i started learning more about kz and ppl and how to play and make maps.
Hmm best period... Back when we at Kreedz Slovakia were able to organize 32 players tournaments. That would be years 2008-2012
One of the fun moments I haven't recalled for many years, is how I jumped my first 250 lj on kz_cg_lost_castle with the fake technique on moving blocks. Then a couple of minutes later I started to spam 254+ and everybody was like omg :D I wasn't aware of XJ yet but I already knew climbers.cpms.ru (former kzru). We pretty much started together with DotAntipro and I clearly remember my idol at that time was ~Kulspruta~ who later on turned up as a cheater :D
Edit: But the most fucking gold times for me personally was when xj irc cups were full all the time and when i was later on promoted to a cup admin and was able to host them myself ^^
Back in the days when the Cup servers were crazy fun, I remember joining the HLTV and just sit and admire for hours. I remember the times of bkZ and when oTcHeTo landed the first 256. Trickjumping was quite popular at the time and the maps weren't completely (excuse me) raped. XJs' activity was booming!
Good ol'days. :)
I got to know some really nice people such as zgooh, elITe^, k3g, fizik and plenty more. <3

Damn dude, kids these days don't even know what /boost was :D being able to basicly 2man an average-skilled kz map, because everything was so hard!
My best kz memory is def when I saw my "kreedz the movie" on frontpage. Felt that I finally left something for such a game.
But the best period was 2009-mid 2010 ... learning every single god damn day how to edit videos, create maps, and ofcourse jumping on 20+ people servers. Still, I'm glad that all these years ... well, it wasn't a waste.
Oh, and I think that oTcheto's 256 longjump clip on youtube got me more involved into the community ... great fkin video tho!
good old times https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nO9GKSLHhT4 2man :P
When there was this conspiration that novice was heL^_x with a flag changer or ip proxy LUL.
Tbh I still believe that this is true, they both had exactly the same style, which i loved, their bhops were so smooth.

Some people believe that novice is Johnny too.
Many good memories :)
My first WR in 2005 : kz_alpin
When I reached top1 in 2006
The KZ WORLD CUP (in 2007 or 2008 I believe), where we lost in semi-finals against Finland (who won the world cup).
A final cup match between zhady and I, on rabbithighwayez, with around 200 people connected to the HLTV.
When I went to China in 2007, that I met with several chinese players who invited me to the restaurant and made me visit their highschool and asked me to sign autographes (I think my mind exploded from unexpectation for this to happen haha).
And my latest one : the feeling of pride and satisfaction when I finished IceVip : French Club and watched it for the first time in the morning after having let my computer rendering all night long.
My favourite kz movie from my works :-)
It's hard to remember excactly what would be the best KZ memory, but a few things stand out.
I was very proud when I reached top 5 on XJ. Still to this day, I'm pretty proud of it, it took fucking dedication like a motherfucker to get those records. I am still a firm believer that, playing KZ taught me how to be patient and persistent.
I remember I was always the guy who would beat back my records, or at least try as hard as I could, until some day, ndR beat one of my records, I think I beat it back once or twice, but I had to bow my head in the end. He won that one. Then like a year later zhady comes out with this monster release beating like 15 ndR records to really take the drivers seat on XJ.
Another time I remember was when faker wrote me, that target and t3dbundy was about to play a cup against eachother on wsp_valleyclimb, that was pretty hype, watching two of my jump idols battling it out. It was a close one, but target won in the end. This was a million years ago.
Ya'll remember when t3dbundy came back, and beat some records and then in one of them, he would do a backwards edgebug on an invisible wall - To this day I am still conspiring if he wanted to do it or not.
I actually met t3dbundy on a boxing forum years later. He always refused to get interviewed.
So much great stuff within KZ, like when edgebug and jumpbug came out, times were crazy. All of a sudden gigablock went from 8 to 2 minutes or something. CJ came along and completely revolutionized jumping.
Or when I started XJ's weekly. Or when I became head of KZMAPS by accident right before it died. When a0ke didn't make a comeback. When Niclass came back to take the last wstrafe record ever. Where did arf go? Some of KKZ records also made me fell back over backwards. Nowadays everything is so damn hightech, the records are unbelievebly good and we're still getting better. So much good stuff. Shoutout to all the good guys!
Ventrilo with zhady omilo moxx and elite <3
