What if KZ was an eSport?
02/03/2018 23:17This, how would it be? How would be players rewarded, how would be the competition, the tournaments, the clans like insilio and KZ Random, the fame. Would XJ be some sort of HLTV.org? Just use your imagination.
Of course this thread is silly, but may be fun to think about it. Something like Toffifee vs shooting-star playing at the Wembley Arena? Kappa.
Try to be creative yet realistic. Insults are welcome.

It would be so cool, I always imagine "what if the kz community was the size of the whole csgo community?", crazy cups, tons of spectators, official events in different countries and shit. People might think I'm retarded for thinking about that but that would sure be fascinating. Maybe in a parallel universe KZ has the largest gaming community.
We already had this kind of conversation back in the days with leggie, warlock, (and others many climbers like chriZzo, keltA, zhady and others) which had contact with DreamHack (in sweden), and wanted to make lan esports with kz ! Unfortunately, nowhere to be done anytime :(
The format if i remember it right was few 16players, 4x4 groups, with 1v1 cup with +40mappools chosen, with 3bans map for each players...
Cashprize would have been with player-entry cash-in
Regarding coverage, it wasn't that far enough to discuss that further..
I was also back in 2009-2010 admin for ESL KZ Ladder 1on1 which had been successful for like just one year, with all XJ-Maps in the mappool...
That's all I remember about "esport" in KZ.

Damn man, all I suggested was using your mind to wonder how would it be, didn't know there was a real attempt to make it happen, that's really interesting.
Would be cool to see kreedz tournament on lan like the big events, who can manage the pressure, who is the real deal and not the lan geek,etc. I think small events can be organized as lan parties in different countries, but if i had to use my imagination about what could kz be... certainly cannot imagine 1v1 kreedzers battling against eachother infront of big crowd. More like small pc clubs or town malls where you can sign up for free and win mouse keyboard mousepad,that kind of stuff.(i know big companies make gaming events in malls and u can play 1v1 awp for prizes etc.)
