Hello, I have a map that is practically finished, but I have a problem; if you touch blocks holding duck you take 0 hp damage. What I noticed is that while you take damage, some func_rotating blocks stop rotating. I've NEVER seen such bug before in my life. I tried setting the brushes to func_wall, func_detail and world brushes but the bug still happens anyway. Does somebody have an idea about what's causing the bug or a possible fix?

This is very common in deathrun where there are a lot of spinning and moving traps. As far as I know it's just a bug with the game engine and during my years of mapping I've never found any way to counter it. You can only avoid it by not ducking on the spinning blocks, usually deathrun mappers add "inflict dmg on block" to prevent players from glitching the traps on purpose.

The blocks you get damage on are not spinning, they are just normal blocks.

Are the normal blocks within the "selection box" of the func_rotating in VHE? That box with dashed lines that appears when you select the entity. Or have you done some copying inside the map without using shift+drag?

It sounds like it's still the same bug I've seen many times.

I forgot to edit the previous reply, the blocks are NOT spinning. Aight, they are not within the selection box. I'll just try to delete the rotating blocks and make new ones again, if that don't work then idk what I'm gonna do.

Another bug I noticed was that you could go through some blocks when jumping and pressing duck, just like those special blocks on mujik's maps. The func_rotating entities up in the sky were causing the problem, I deleted them and everything was fine. I have no idea why these bugs were happening, if someone has some idea let me know because I am really curious about it since I've never seen it before.
