Lift-off issue with Logitech G900

So I've had my G900 for over a year now, when I first got it I had issues with it losing traction very often when playing KZ. This issue caused me to simply put the G900 aside for when I was playing KZ and opted to use my old trusty G400 instead.

Fast forward to recent times I decided to look into it some more, and after a conversation with Logitech support they were kind enough to file a warranty claim for me. I got the new G900 some time ago and I'm still having the same issue. So I though what the fuck, it must be me doing something wrong.

I then recorded my hand while I was playing to see if I was doing something weird, like lifting or tilting the mouse involuntarily. As you can see in this video the mouse often stops tracking for a split second while I'm strafing, but the mouse never even leaves the pad, there is no tension or excessive force involved either.



I don't have issues with it when I use it for normal desktop use or anything like that so I've mostly ruled it down to being KZ technique related, but is it really supposed to be this sensitive? Can it be something else?

I have tried to clean the sensor-cap, reinstall firmware, use different micepads, different mouse calibrations on different surfaces with different colors etc just to experiment, but the default preset seems to give me the highest LOD. The same issue is also present on my G502, which has the same sensor - but not as bad as the G900.

I've had numerous mice prior to this, such as Deathadder, Xai, Sensei, Mionix Avior 7000, G400, G400s, G500, G500s and I have never experienced anything like this with those.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what the problem is and how I can fix it?
