Dark rooms and FPS issues

Hello,

Everytime I join a dark room in CS 1.6 I have the same 100 stuck fps but the feeling I have is like 30fps, it feels lag and frozen, as soon as I go back to normal light it goes fine again, for example: d2 tunnels: 30fps I go back at B site and 100fps stable, again, the fps counter is stuck at 100.

16GB RAM DDR 2400MHZ CL11
Ryzen 5 1600 OC 3.9GHZ
NVIDIA GTX 1050 TI OC 4GB (updated it 2 times already)

My CS 1.6 is running on 800x600.

Any tips to fix this?

Sounds like compatibility issues because you can run other games just fine.. does ryzen have integrated graphics? So you can rule out the gpu. I suggest a fresh os reinstall if that doesnt work

Yeah I can run CS;GO on 500 fps easily and dark rooms are fine. I will try to check that out thanks.

I've helped a lot of people with FPS issues and it seems the problem can be caused by so many things it's really difficult to fix these without being on the PC yourself :D Have you tried different launch settings?

somehow it looks better still could be perfect but this will work till I reinstall OS. thank you for the help

I did everything but probably launch options I would say
