Mouse overclocking

Hello guys. Does any of you still overclocks your mouse? I still have Logitech MX518 and the problem is that after latest windows 10 update (windows 10, version 1803) I can't manually change the polling rate. None of the programs I used works now. Does anyone know any solution? :( I had 1000Hz/500Hz before, but after every major windows update it would reset, but still would let me to change it back, now it does not let me..

After someone give you a solution, block the updates in firewall of windows :) prob will help you futher on

I don't think it's that easy with Windows update on W10

Then you could be possibly to revert or install back to a older windows 10 installation and do that, but I don't think that is a good idea as windows 10 updates can be useful generally, if this seem to be a issue for everyone with underclocked mice and a win10 limit, I think you should find some fix soon in future, however you could ask around in some other forum e.g. tomshardware to see if anyone have found solution for it or may be able to help or come up with smth.
