i decided to share the map(.bsp) to encourage u : https://www82.zippyshare.com/v/Z9rC1eI6/file.html
also feel free to add starting room, lj room and even some new parts

first climb part, until the first bhop part, has very boring and unbalanced jumps. You should delete all of it.
After the first bhop part the jumps are better and well balanced.

i think they are easy/average jumps, kinda nasty yeah to make it interesting(like the wj jump and some strafe jumps) because i wont make straight forward jumps. maybe if u play that part again and again and u get use to it, it will become easy and clear for u and u will change ur mind. after all its ur opinion :)

what do u think u wanna join? (i may change some jumps at that part)

Is not about difficulty, is the fact that the jumps are too easy for a hard map, and to hard for a easy map. I mean you can barely bhop 1-2 blocks in a row in that first part, and that's what makes it boring. Make some good bhop combos possible and it should be ok...

I don't want to join, because it will take to much work to make this map look interesting, even the jumps need to be redone because most of them are just square / rectangle blocks hanging on the walls...

dont compare 1rst part and last part climb they are 2 different type of climb. 1rst part is slow climb and after bhop part i made fast climb. Not any climb should be fast :D. me personaly i like slow climb like kz_sandblock for example. it seems u dont like that type of climb.

And ofc it still need much work or i'll finish it myself. what do u expect :D

FuZzy1 mapper12/07/2018 16:21

Well majority of players prefer fast climb. Just don't mix them if you like slow climb make whole map like that, or split it in 2 and make 2 maps.

SadPuppy mapper12/07/2018 20:39

Why? If the mapper wants to mix it up, why not? It's the mapper's vision coming to life after all. First and foremost a mapper should make the map s/he wants to make imho. There are plenty of players who don't compete with WRs but still enjoy jumping, and they do enjoy all kinds of things. You may end up mapping for a minority, or the unknown players out there but considering how much time (at least I) one spends on a map I think one should map what feels right.

I agree totally with SadPuppy, its not what we see only and predict :) after everything is done tho we all can suggest things up.

keep it up fuerzaaa!

I agree that mappers don't have to submit to existing templates when building a map and be free in expressing their creativity. Its always nice to see new approaches in maps.

However its also important to listen to feedback and objective criticism, to realize what solutions do not work/fit very well and make according adjustments. To maintain the balance so to speak.

Good luck with your map!
