Dafuq ? The tittle says “effortless clip” i clearly meantioned it was weak so where is the salt? And i gotta agree its weak content for frontpage, sadly you dont realize other weak content.
XJ just became a community where ass lickers got the runner up and only friends get some chance to actually do something, somtimes I regret all the work I have made as ROTWS, streams and newspost but then I remember I did it for the XJ itself and not for based admins. If you cant enjoy the shit clip, leave it there, some did actually, i am sorry i dont enjoy doing 3D shit every corner of the video(like that even means anything about quality of the video).
I kinda understand where zythH^'s coming from, not that it's related to this case, but I did a movie called exjehy that featured a lot of TJ's from the TJ thread and credit also the people who found the TJ's, so it was like a community movie. It didn't get a news post and about a week later ndR gets a news post using the exact same song I used in my movie. Surely it's not a coincidence and ofc he gets the news post as he was high up in the community at that point. The fact is that the movies that were news post before that was basically a clip and a song, no syncing and yet I got a no. So yeah, I'm pretty sure someone is (was) playing favorites. Speedz0r, don't feel bad. I don't remember which year it was, prolly 2009/10, I still remember it as one of the best movies I have seen here in my last 11 years at XJ.
People do remember it, ppl who have actually been on XJ for 10+ years, and it was something which would have definitely got a newspost release.

Otherwise, that was awesome, very clean, you can actually see the jump itself and transition were awesomes and in sync with the music!

Propane's 257 lj was already edited by insprate and posted on the frontpage a year ago, it wouldn't make much sense to repeat the same content imo.

If you make it and spend time on it, then stand by it. If it's really effortless and weak and you don't care about it, then why post it into chatbox and forums and salt over somebody saying it is not good? (and yeah your reaction had a lot of salt in it)

there is a difference between effortless, weak and not wanting people to check the edition, omegalul, ps: the person in question who got triggered said itself the clip isnt worth frontpage, he didnt say it was bad, but well, if I roll back into the front page we can see shit content appreciated by the same guy (moviemaking wise).
The real question is, salty or just annoyed by that fact that if you are a big name or a cock sucker you immediatly go on front page with good or shit content, I have seen many good videos declined because the team didn't like the person itself, remember that you are talking to someone who saw the forums from the inside, who worked with the team and who saw how the votes were taken, so, in the end, I posted first on the chat because obviously it is on youtube to be seen, then i made the thread because the chat is temporary as hell, about the title itself, you know what they say, if the shackle fits :)
in the end and as far as i can see, more liked than the ones who didnt and the ones who didnt enjoy to the fullest made some real criticism ;)

To me it just seems that you have this kind of elitist idea of yourself and expected everyone to praise you for obviously bad clip achieved by saying yourself it's bad to set the bar low. In other words you have a need of receiving pettiness disguised as praise from other people to somehow boost your idea of own relevance. Your last statement is perfect example of this.

This is all you came for here, throwing a really low quality "art" together to get some internet likes by saying it is bad and waiting for others to say it is not.
I saw some of your clips from ages ago a while back when I had a little nostalgic moment and went over 1.6 videos and let me tell you, you really haven't improved creatively and artistically in all those years and you've been doing this sorta thing for a long time. So please stop trying to put the blame on somebody else. Some people have it in them and are able to progress in artistic expression and some are not, it's perfectly fine, but what you are doing right now is just cringy.
If you want people to see a product of your work and actually perceive it as it's meant to be, then bashing it the first thing you do is just stupid. Next time maybe try putting a little more effort into. Because there really is not much of a difference between effortless and "not wanting people to see" art. Only those who can't strive for more try to settle for less.
04/09/2018 01:12(edited 04/09/2018 01:36)I wrote a shitload of text before this edit but I will summ it this way, as I can see you sneaked through my old videos (which 90% are private for 2 years already) and I actually found this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u5g1oVlgAg8 and I can clearly see that if you don't even find this "improvement" from old (really start of my moviemaking thing) and you can see the lack of effort in this one compared to lynn's clip, you clearly underestimate me and what I can do, by no means I am saying I can outperform IceVip or korban, no way, they are way to superior both moviemaking and knowledge in software to outplay me, however I do know I have more than experience and skills to repeat AND do better than this LyNn's edit but and again I will repeat what I said in the long ass text: working for haters (the old gang which you probably are part of) of the community who only seek the negative into the thing that someone wasted hours and hours and days to do is just frustrating, that is just the rock bottom, not the omegalul, going into a website, see someone trying hard and find negative things just to put it down instead of cheering up and provide constructive criticism to that person, shock is a great example, for over 1 year the dude mocked my head to work harder on newspost but always with good criticism and guess what, today I have a huge respect for that man and he will always remain as a good man in my point of view, he seeked to teach me and guide me, not like trolls and retards who wannabe kafds, and even the legendary kafds could give sincere and good criticism.
In the end, whenever you want to see clean and simple videos like the ones I do outperform overedited crap in the news of this website feel free to PM or add me on steam, I got shitloads of clips in my head ready to show you that SPAMMING 3D effects on a video doesn't make you a better moviemaker ;)
And we should really end it by here, you are not changing your mind, I have seen through your point of view and even some of yours points make sense, I don't really need 1 like or 10 views for shit, I don't earn either money or respect on youtube nor internet, I just want fair work and fair passion for the website to be shown, just like speedzor said before, you got a big name you got a big newspost.

I don't know if there has been some friends with benefits shit going on in the past, I wasn't an admin back then. I sure as hell won't let something like that happen here now if I have any decision power over those things.
I'm not sure why you think I only want to see 3D stuff? Actually I think most of those edits look ridiculous in CS, they're just so out of place. I loved some movies from Phinx for example, who I think was a master of using very simple effects to create an incredible flow. Of course the moviemaking standards on XJ went down when all experienced editors went inactive. You have to give rookies a chance to shine and improve. I also agree that most of the clips posted recently are really bad.
I find it funny how you consider my personal opinion to be the "XJ standards". I'm not sure if you noticed but I'm a demoadmin, my word doesn't mean a fucking thing if you want to spam stuff on the frontpage.

XJ DOES NOT do that lately ... its been since 2010 atleast! I came with an oppinion back in 2012 regarding this, I even had evidence of people from inside of XJ being promoted etc, while others were not, but won't go back into it since those guys might get mad after all these years. Nobody gave a shit then - 1 year ago - now. Just get over it because people that have not been in certain situations, will just dismiss all your claims, as they will probably bash me for this.. again and again.
You either say 'byebye' to everything, or remain an admin that does stuff whenever and HOWever he wants. Though, you must have some connections there aswell :)
