I went faster the normal way when i raced someone, i won 3 times out of 3.
i posted that sc some time ago and i think it can save a few seconds if you go the other way around:

With sj's way you gain 1-2second(s) compared to the World Record's way =)

I did the invis wall sc perfect, and he still beat me (he fell too I believe)
He's pro yes, but if you are less skilled and can do the invis wall turn perfect, I think that would be faster for you guys. :)
