ARISE 2 - democall (trickjumping movie)

I've been delaying this democall for months due to hardware issues, however I'm about to build new pc in next couple of weeks (hopefully... those delays in cpu accessibility are killing me) so I think it is a good time for such a call (as gathering demos will take some time).

For a little background: I am Thunder, in April XJ has released a movie edited by me. ARISE was a trickjump movie that included trickjumps from 12 players. If you would like to check the first version here is the link to the movie uploaded by courtesy of XJ ARISE by Thunder.

There are too much possibilities for delays (amount of demos, my non-existant-PC, I would love to pursue certain ideas that I have already imagined/wrote down) so I won't be announcing any deadline. release date etc. unless it's close to finish. I might spoil some things here and there later on. And also I will try to reach to more ppl and ask about it a bit more frequently in case of gathering demos to make sure I will have enough material to edit.

If you would like to help me with providing some demos please send me a PM with demo + your nickname (in case if it's spelled differently here etc.) + demo time (but only if demo in really long and trickjump is somewhere in the middle). You can also find me on steam and discord (xj group/server) if it is more suitable for you.

As soon as I will built a PC, this will be my main project, however I might also work on some smaller projects as well in the meantime. Time will tell.

Spreading the word around will be appreciated.

Sure, I think that a lot of varieties of jumps/techniques/ideas can enrich trickjumping movie and keep the things more interesting

There's no limits for demos from individuals, however as previously I would like to keep it as community movie but it all depends of amount of demos I will receive etc. For example in first ARISE you can see 8 demos from Propane, 5 from Jondee, 4 from Zythh. Overall - no problems with having more demos from some players and less from others, but I think the idea of community movie wouldn't work if there will be 50% or more demos from one player in it (one man movies can be done separately, cant they? :D)

Maybe it will be a good idea to have (for example) 3-4 demos per player. Or atleast restrict the difference down to +- 1 demo.

Btw, any deadline for sending demos?

Edit:

zyllEE in a 2019-2020 trickjump movie would be something... :))

Restricing it from the begining has no point imho, I'm not even sure if I will get enough demos to fill half of the movie, so we will figure things out later on :d

I have already gathered more demos in those few days than during gathering demos for Arise 1 in few months, which I am really thankful for. Still need a lot more however this made me really happy, thanks!

I'm so tempted to try and record something for this, but I also know the amount of hours and wrist pain I have to struggle through to land anything these days :D

Hi!
Just for a little update: I will be able to start editing soon (possibly in the next couple of days, wish me luck on coming back home safely :d).
My pc is ready and I just have to setup some things here and there.
If I remember correctly I have enough demos to fil around 70-80% of the movie so I am still in need. If anyone who messaged me about their will to record something or someone I messaged myself have some demos to share, please contact me through pm/steam/discord, I will really appreciate that!
I have seen some messages here and there but due to limited internet access right now I haven’t read them yet. I will respond around Monday.
Thanks for everyone’s interest in this, I am super thankful for all the demos I have received so far and for spreading the word.
