XJ extra tops

Hi there, jumpers!
Was online here a long time ago for the last time, but nostalgia surged and I decided to log-in. That's not 2010 when Kreedz activity was more intensive and etc. But while I'm opening LJ Recs I see similar stuff again and again. No any new jumps there, only SBJ LJ CJ DCJ HJ.
I urge to add new jumps to increase activity and competition for a place in the top, because this is a big space for jumpers. For example, the stereotype that it is impossible to do the SCJ at 10aa has long passed, because I personally reached 297 prestrafe long time ago (guess its max in our days) and got a lot of 268 stats even in 2013.
Ladder jumps, SCJ, something else, I guess it would be great if XJ can add some new jumps and make TOP for it.

It takes them like 1 year to update the current 5 tops and you want more techniques? Wanna see updates every 10 years?

While I think prestrafe tops are little bit off, other techniques like scj and regular bhoplj should have a place here :)

However, implementing wlj as well as ladder stuff would need a new official longjump map - kz_longjumps3

There was some topic I guess for kz_longjump3 actually and still nothing from that time. Let's alive this and make some competition or something for the new map which should contains additional techniques. There was only poll for extending current LJ records to top10, It was nice idea and there should be more often LJ updates, but first of all > kz_ljs3

In my opinion, Competition for ljs3 would be a lot of wasted effort. If anything, it will be a collab of mappers and longjumpers. Soon™

Well, I tried to convey the idea that in these techniques there is a great prospect as long-distance jumping

Kz_longjumps3 will need ladder jump and weird jump and it will be fkn awesome

As Evis said, yeah its a plugin I have been working on for a while. Hopefully it will be released before cs 1.6 ends. :D

I do want to see more techniques and you will most likely see them at some point. It does require kz_ljs3 to be made, definitely not as a competition but like Chichin said a collab of multiple mappers.

It’s not a bad idea to include other techniques for new players to train the full spectrum of long jumping techniques, but as a long jumper I would really like to have a place where long jumpers enthusiasts to have blocks strictly for racing just to add some spice in this matter. Idk how this would be implemented but it would be fun to be able to.
