Your top3 XJ events in history
15/02/2020 18:22While reading the newspost I thought that hel^_x really crossed a milestone while beating synergy_x but now we are witnessing someone doing a 3.20 run. With this I thought to ask all of you, what are your top3 memories of Xtreme-Jumps??

3. shooting star with jb scs (not an event, but im seeing as a whole, people helping with scs + him streaming)
1. shooting star getting the most records at any one time gotta be the big one. When zhady got 121, that was celebrated as the biggest accomplishment. In this day and time, where it is much harder to beat the current records (which is ofcourse a more philosophical debate) I'd say that shooting-star takes the cake. Behind him are lewly, kkz, zhady and all the rest of the best. This accomplishment is much bigger than any one demo imo.
2. The invention of count-jumps. This invention opened up a can of new and greater routes for the KZ'er. It made a lot of new posibilites for greater trickjumps and greater records and even a whole new longjump section. It made the game itself so much more complex and opened up for further discoveries like double cj and what have we. Such an important step to get us where we are at.
3. synergy_x. What is there really to say? This is such a monumental situation and I believe every KZ'er feels just how important this milestone is. For me, I can't remember watching a record and just being so blown away, like a sneakpeak into 2025 or some future-esque preview of some sort. Really just an incredible achievement, and almost without a flaw, and with such speed. I was like "Is this the easy version or something?" I mean that's when you know it's insane. I believe the reason it is recieving so much praise, is because of the skillcap required to beat the map itself is so high, that it demands your respect perhaps in a different degree, than an easier map, even though the easier map, might even be a more diffucult record to beat (im definitely not the expert on what's the hardest to beat, but my dinosaur knowledge would think that this synergy_x record is on the absolute top of the curve in difficulty.)

Nothing represents the storyline of KZ itself better than this movie. Ondrej's heart was literally beating for the community. He carried an unconditional love for the game itself, for the people and for the atmosphere. He's an honorable person outside the game and a friend that guided me and shooting-star for years. When he presented the idea to me, I was hyped that IceVip shares entushiasm for the project. It absolutely delivered and I watch the movie whenever I need to remind myself what this game has done for me.
2. LEWLY and his WR Release #619
I would pick this release as a milestone of era that changed KZ forever. LEWLY solidified his status as the most talented and copmetitive player. I think it's more important for people actively recording, but during that era LEWLY produced the most difficult records to beat. I think there might be some discussion after the upcoming release. I highly recommend to study these demos if you didn't see them before.
3. shooting-star on fu_extreme
As crazy as it might sound, shooting-star had a clear vision. He took free time, studied every jump and then executed the map in the most effective way. There are years of planing behind it, but he made it possible. It's THE hardest record on the website, you can't beat it if you're not ready to invest at least 60-100 hours of your time and keep pushing. There are some interesting stories behind the record I don't want to bring up, maybe shooting-star will in the future. It's still hard to believe that it happened, it's a top 3 event for sure.
16/02/2020 12:19Can't tell for a top3 but definitly thopa getting banned, kz tournament 3 finals, switching to demo real time (00.xx) instead of just seconds, hel^_x comes back, spr1n redblock/wigblockv and many more as people said previously
This gonna be a hard one but here goes:
oTcHeTo landing the 256, some of the oldschool XJ melee cups, can't say one in particular, FoF's ban.
16/02/2020 18:51(edited 16/02/2020 19:02)My memory is really bad for this issues, but based in some of the comments above me, and without a specific order, I would say:
-Koukouz special release: It was incredible for me. This amazing performance confirmed that he was the best player of the world at this time, when XJ was living its better days (in my opinion).
-Including the real time: This accurate and necessary decision meant more possibilities to beat the most "worked" maps.
-shooting-star beating fu_extreme : I always said without any doubt that this map wouldn't be beated ever. This WR is simply the best singular achievement in the map wr section.
Special mention to the addition of -md maps (which I asked since I started to play kz) and the discovery of CJ (Didn't include this because when it happened, I was still playing against BOTs :D)

1] Extreme/hard maps tournaments back in 2010 up to 2012(?), held by chrizZo. Those were great and innovating cups literally overcrowded with lots of popular and skilled players of the time. I still remember some bad and funny fails of mine and other players.

2] Kreedz Climbing being Greenlit (xtreme-jumps community contributing to it very much). This was big for me. The online activity went soaring immediately after it was released and it felt so huge, though unfortunately not for too long. Remember playing with toffifee on hns mod with lots of players ^^
3] shooting-star on fu_extreme blew my mind. I had literally said before "it was not beatable", when the money challenge was presented. But he did it. Worth mentioning is throttle's attempt on fu_extreme, which blew my mind even more. By getting that far he proved to me, that this map can be nochecked.
