I'm feeling ashamed lately for my insanely high number of hours played, and the time I've been playing CS for. So, how long have you been playing this game for?

I've been playing KZ since 2009, but i got steam CS at 2016/17, the overall amount of hours must be huge, but steam-only says 2,024hrs :D

2005 - school
2008 - nonsteam and publics
2009 - steam > hns and competitive leagues (czech master league, online tournaments)
2012 - leagues were shutting down so I played only hns / KZ, I discovered XJ and KZSK thanks to my clanmate

Well, my very first memories of Counter-Strike are from Lan-cafes when I was a little prick and I mostly just spectated 'the big boys' playing the game. I must have been around 12. It was around 2003, when the 1.6 era was starting.

I actually feel kinda bad for having such a small amount of hours on Steam (2290 1.6 / 2250 csgo). Important thing is I still play :D

Similar story to perd0, around 2004...6, can't even remember. Obviously had some small and huge breaks.

cs since 2005. kz since 2009. now i just watchin demos, reading articles from xj. almost 2 years ago, I uninstalled my cs.

One simply does not uninstalls CS. CS uninstalls you.

i started in early 2006 in lan cafes in school breaks, then got my first pc back in 2007 and started playing non steam till 2008/9 if not mistaken and from then to now it's been a journey :)

first/second month of 2007 - KZ (almost from the beginning of KZPL [*])

I played a lot of non-steam between 2006-2008/9 even tho I had steam (idk why)

2003-2004 mostly with bots, 2007 was the year i had my personal pc so i was playing waay to much .. so i had to explore more of the game = moviemaking & mapping. Then after a break, i came back to hidenseek in late 2008 and soon after, kreedz. Barely played for the past years, but atleast i can still bhop :D
