Help with a mouse choice 2020
Hello,
I haven't played cs a lot of years and I want to play a bit and I was wondering which mouse you are using in 2020 for kz, bhop and hns.
My first mouse was X7, then I played couple of years with Logitech G400.
Please recommend something.

24/05/2020 11:42i played with g402, i prefer mouse wheel with strong sense of scale and slightly stiff & not so heavy. but if u are comfortable with g400 then stick to it

g402 - I keep hearing good things about this mouse (lots of WR holders use it)
g403 - Lift off distance is way too low for kz, and the scroll wheel is unsatisfying.
g518 legendary - terrible scroll wheel.
other than that I remember trying zowie ec2-a for a brief moment and it was really good.

It all depends on what you're going to use it for.
But definitely, scroll is the most important part of the mouse for kz/hns players.
I'd recommend Logitech g400/g400s/g402 for kz and g500/g500s for hns.
Also, there multiple unpopular options that people are not aware of. For example Lenovo, Trust, Acer, HyperX etc. It's just that people are mainstreaming Logitech/Razer these days. Still, they are very good, but it doesn't mean that there's no better alternative.

yes g403 is light but its loose wheel sucks, the wheel would be triggered even if i merely tap my finger on it, and that is annoying when u are doing cj. its true that the lift of distance way too low, took me some time to get used it
Definitely not worth buying g403, as said above "scroll wheel is unsatisfying", but still there are two good things: sensor, weight.
25/05/2020 17:52I wonder if it's possible to put the G5 scroll inside g500/g400/g400s/g518 legendary? They all share the same shape so who knows it might be possible.
g403 is what I'm using right now, and I did goldbhop in 1:28 with it. So you can definitely make WR's using g403 if you try hard enough.
And yes the scroll on the g518 legendary sucks... it's kinda like it gets stuck or something which is also what happens with the g400 and g400s.

Mouses I hated: steelseries sensei (bought it, tried for 30 seconds, sent it back, WAY too small), g402 (too small aswell)

right now using mx518, had no issue with "stuck" wheel or whatsoever, used to play with g500, really loved it, um might try that "mwheelswap" could work, luckily i have parts, ill keep u guys updated
ive been using G402 for a while and completely happy with it.
didnt notice any issues so far
I use a razer deathadder essential and would not recommend it for jumping. The scroll is kinda meh. It's really comfortable for my hand though and pretty good for fragging.

shit... I was thinking to swap my razer basilisk with DA :/ perfect shape and mice overall, but man this scroll sucks in kreedz too.
I used g402 for a week before razer and its pretty good especially for bhop, if it fits well in your hand and all those extra buttons don't bother. Sadly, it wasn't comfortable for me at all.
I also liked corsair harpoon - cheap and decent in every way. Small and light mice. The only problem is - the scroll is not durable, partially lost its resistance after 6 months.
Sensor shouldn't be an issue nowadays regardless of DPI, did 256 lj block with all of them.
tl;dr don't go for razer
using asus gladius 2 wireless
scroll is great but sensor sux, cant lift it at all
and g403 I had it for less than a year until scroll start going wild
looking to buy another one as well.
might give a try BenQ Zowie EC1.

OMG! This mouse! Scroll so crunchy and rough can't even do few bhops in a row :D sending it back lol!
