Hey guys,

So ever since I came back to 1.6 after years of inactivity I'm facing this problem.
Every once in a while i will get 2,3 sec lag spike (my current internet is terrible) followed by cl_FlushEntityPacket error on top-right screen position and my game will crash 95% of the time because of it.

No error message after the crash.

I've had cl_FlushEntityPacket error before of course but I've never had an issue where the game would crash because of it.

Anyone had this issue, or knows how to fix it?

Thanks!

isn't this issue mostly happening because of your ping and lag results to flushentitypacket error then crash the game.. ?
i guess thats because of you internet ;(

does it happen on LAN?

That is 100% your internet connection, I have it myself sometimes as well and my internet is terrible bad.

First I would check from here if your rates and settings are correct. But like mentioned above the problem is most likely in your connection. You can check packet loss test and speed test to see where the problem could be.

Thanks for the replies guys, I guess no way to fix it until I get better internet.
I was just thinking that is odd a 2,3 sec lag spike would crash the game.

Used to have this issue when playing via WiFi at my old place. After I moved I still use WiFi but the problem is gone. Definitely the connection.

High ping crashes the game for me as well.

I have this issue on both cs1.6 server and cso, both are because of unstable internet connection or high ping(typically 300+ping for me)
