Hello XJ,

I was wondering if anyone else in here, were investing in the stockmarket?

Share some leads and lets discus.

I'll start. You (and me) should have bought tesla, every day of the year.

Tesla stock is so volatile that its not worth the risk, only if u have too much money, also buying stock based on information is the best way to get something out of it, if u blinding buy stock based on nothing then you are giving away your money.

Tesla isnt worth buying imo, im not so sure about it. Overvalued af imo, xpeng, fisker, nio aswell. Btc is about to do a breakout now, expecting a pullback first

It's true what you are saying, but that does not change the fact that every day, this whole year, you should have bought tesla. I was one of the outsiders looking in, but I couldn't help myself when it dropped to 650, had to get some shares. I don't think it's a bad investment with all the plans for taking marketshares in China and with new giga factories in Shang Hai I think they'll do just that. Even rent out the facilities to NIO and posibly a collaboration down the line, would see both companies bang.

Square on the other hand seems like a slam dunk buy. A disrupter in the finance industry, challenging the old dusty bank model. Very interesting company, with some great earnings and plans for the futures as well. I would buy asap and hold for 3-5.

My new portfolio is 40% up in 2.5 months. It's high risk, that's for sure, but with this bull market we're seeing, it's about squezing it, and if the markets goes super sour, I'd rearrange my portfolio in the more steady stocks, your adobe's, apples and microsofts, but for now. I'm going pretty much alongside ARK investment, and doing some super risky plays on the side too like SBE.

Not a bad choice, I've seen it being on a tear in the summer. Seems like it's back to being a little bit steady here once again. What companies did you buy in oil? We're seeing oil lower than ever before, and also the companies, so that might be super lucrative if this stimilus can bang up the inflation. (Let's hope so!)

Did you know that they printed 1/5 of all the worlds money in 2020 and still no inflation? Must suck to own bonds.

Sure tesla has been overvalued for a long time. But the market and this EV company has long ago left the real world, and is somewhere in orbit between the moon and mars. The thing is I don't even see tesla really crashing. Maybe a 10-15 % pullback if the overall markets goes south. But let's be honest, tesla can go a lot further.

If tesla hadn't done the stock split, the stockprice would be about $5000 right now.

I also got NIO. I think NIO will double or triple 2021. China wants 20% of cars on the road to be EV's by 2025 and also putting taxes on tesla cars making EV even cheaper.

Also i would look into carbon neutral fuel companies that started making fuel out of carbon, that shit will kill tesla. Carbon is not gonna go away anytime soon its part of earth and the ecosystem.

I just bought oil on etoro.com and waited for the climb as soon as I hit some profit I decided to take it out after a oil tragedy in russia and thankfully I was smart enough to cashout because it dropped hard.

AMD is and will always be rising, I am aiming that it will stick to the 140-150~ $ stock value, till then I am holding it!

Nice one zythH!

So who do we see as winners in 21?

I could see the old safe bets like apple, amazon, microsoft, adobe and so on, being the big winners. Especially if the market turns bearish.

I would say AMD is a huge winner since 2016 tbh. From 7$ to 90$ average in just 4 years. The progression is insane!

I would say bitcoin and amazon are also huge winners. Microsoft and Apple were already the big dogs in the park imo

Surely zythH, it looks like the chinese EV's are bouncing right back. I like NIO, but i mean who doesn't. And also I thiink one that flies under the radar is the gaming company unity (ticker $U), and fiverr is also a great earner.

Let's hope that the crash is not imiminent.

Also looking at SQ, ROKU, CRISPR & BNGO. What are you looking at.

Kinda offtopic but i think is a funny thing to share. A friend of mine bought some litecoin 2 days ago and since than i literally see stocks and bitcoin everywhere even on cs related forums xd

Kinda makes me buy some too, but i would have to ask, what would be an ok period of time to wait and evaluate the profit/loses?

Stabilot13/01/2021 09:29

When you see people talking about it everywhere that's when you sell.

Well that's up to you.

It's all about risk. You can go very high risk, and get rewarded handsomely, very fast by going into some weird stock like plug, fuelcell & nndm, very complex companies, that you really have no idea what they are doing. Ofcourse you can read the description, but it's basically very complex.

You can also go medium risk and pick very safe stocks like apple, microsoft and other very big known companies and you should be fine, even if there's a gigantic market collapse, over the long time you will earn money, but the gains are not that big, but okay.

Then there's extremely low risk and almost certainly 2-10% a year reward, like betting on the whole american market like the S&P 500. The last 100 years, the norm is that it gainst around 7-10% a year. Over a period of 5 years, you will make money.

Right now we're in the most insane bull market ever. So every stock is gaining 100% every 6th month it seems. But it's probably gonna crash soon, and I don't think the crash will be small. They printed 1/5th of all the money in the world in 2020, to ramp up inflation. But people put the money in the market instead of buying consumer goods, so inflation is nowhere to be found.

You do realize that you lose a lot of money by not investing, that in normal years you lose around 2-4% straight up to inflation because of the deevaluation of your currency. Ofcourse these years there's no inflation, but it'll be back.

TLDR. you lose a lot of money by having them either in cash or in a bank depot.
