Who discovered DD after jumping reduces speed loss?

Who was the first player that discovered that you're not losing speed by double ducking after a jump? Was it a kreedz player or regular shooter? Possible video footage?

I think that trick is genius

Also what are the technicals behind it?

Begrip gaming made dd famous. Don't think anybody used it to go faster in kz tho. I wonder if anyone knows the answer to this

First one i remember is Brian as finzer said. He was atleast very early for the KZ world.

It was an old know technique, was overused on low distance block lj maps. But Brian was one of the first who shows how good it is in others aspects. Cuz moviemaking in 2007-2009 was on his hype wave many talented players show their skill every month with his own movie. Also, the surf scene was exists w/ aa100 and fps 131, and sgs was the default technique before 2008.
Result: no one OPEN it it was old known technique but few people show how good and useful it can be in their movies / world records.

I think it was the one in this News.
