How can both sides be 70 units when one of them is clearly higher than the other? If all sides are 70 units high which the pictures shows they are all highjumps. If you would have put 50¨ units that in fact it is on picture 1 & 3 it wouldnt have been a highjump.

There are "greater than" & "less than" signs in front of the numbers. :F

tjubby12/05/2007 09:51

All of them are both hjs and ljs at different places, but its really hard to explain.... so im not going to try :P

i think the greater/less than signs are wrong...

it shows <70 at the higher side that would mean its shorter then 70...
I think i know why stukad had problems in understanding it... am i right?

ajR`12/05/2007 11:14

Yea, his signs are backwards lol.

5th grade math FTL.

colix mapper12/05/2007 11:15

its combined imo ;)

Pulsar!12/05/2007 13:08

Oh, guys, i failed 2 math exams, now i have only 1 try to pwn it or my ass will be kicked hard. I learn it 24/7 like freak. My mistake looks like paranoya.

Edited the image, now i hope u all can explain it <3.

DevAstatoR12/05/2007 14:40

1 & 3

Volsfootball12/05/2007 18:50

Looks like 1 and 3 are the only high jumps because of the edgefriction on 100 units high, which you don't have on the 50, or as much as. . .Correct me if im wrong.

PepoX12/05/2007 19:29

you put to think to me with that, but for which he is not hj

Dalai mapper12/05/2007 19:37

i think it's easily 1 & 3 .. I'd wonder if there'S a difference between func_walls and normal bruhs..

btw, do you sell the copyrights of picture? (c)pulsar ^^

Pulsar!12/05/2007 21:10

DalaiLama2k6, 450$ if u want to buy it.

Dalai mapper13/05/2007 00:15

I dont think there is a difference between them because they are all 100 units high unless none of them have frictionless surfeces

Fliborecord holder Tournament #227/05/2007 08:52

Every platform over 69 or 70 units is HJ.

EDIT: And also water doesn't affect if the jump is HJ or not i think.

imo if its less than 70 u. the edgefriction is normal
so prestrafe has same speed like on normal LJ, in air (when heigth is more than 70) maybe the strafing will became harder or less useful like on HJ

it would be best to measure it with head-admins/edarks fpsDeath

but my conclusion is that its combined HJ/LJ, and
imo its easier to pwn LJ to HJ, rather than HJ to LJ,
koz HJ->LJ affects PRE and LJ->HJ doesnt, in air
is LJ->HJ in advantage too

Fliborecord holder Tournament #228/05/2007 12:27

HJ just affect's your speed on the edge, NOTHING ELSE!
