Doubleduck units?

With doubleduck you can "run" over litle holes. Now i want to know how many units you can run over. On risk_simpsons on the lj part i can doubleduck from one block to the next (don´t know the units).
What is the max range one can doubleduck over?

If you prestrafe and then duck, it'd be further.

Why doubleduck if you can just roll your scroll once, or don't even scroll, just duck in the air?

Yeah, a doubleduck does get you farther than a normal duck.
